What We Do
Friends of the Fairfax Library fund programming for a variety of programs our talented library staff offer to the public and for library improvement projects:

Children and Teen Programming - Music with Marni, LEGO club, Film Nights, Story Time and Crafts, STEM programming, Open Poetry MIC, and the Summer Reading Program.

Adult Programming - Writing programs, Age Friendly Chair Yoga, Seed Saving programs, and music programs

Monthly Book Discussion Groups

Fund Facility Enhancements – Teen area, Children’s area and general seating, Outdoor tables and umbrella
We are a nonprofit 501(c)3 group of volunteers dedicated to supporting our county library system and provide funding for a range of programs. Please join us as a Friend of Fairfax Library by becoming a member. Your membership supports programming for toddlers to seniors. Our non-profit tax ID is 23-7098721.
