The Book Place - 1608 Grant Avenue, near 7th Street, Novato​

 

You'll find books in more than 60 categories at unbelievable prices--fiction, nonfiction, cookbooks, children's books, collector's items and much more. You'll also find CDs, DVDs, and sheet music and puzzles. Books start at just a quarter. We're staffed entirely by volunteers. Hassle-free parking is behind the store.

 

Donations of books are accepted Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, BEHIND the store in our parking lot. Enter off 7th Street, near corner of Grant Avenue, and look for our roll-up door. Be sure to consult our Donation Guidelines before packing your donations. Thank you in advance!

May at The Book Place

 

As the days get longer, we start to think about road trips and other travel. This month, we feature Travel and World Languages at 50% off. There is quite a lot from which to choose, including a beautiful recent donation of virtually new guides and travel books covering the western states (see photo). Even if you don’t venture from your armchair, it’s still fun to read travel books. 

 

Spring also means more bird activity! Our large bird section, which includes field guides, are also 50% off this month. 

 

A gift card would be a lovely gift for Mom, giving her some quiet “me” time to browse and buy. We have gift cards in any amount.
