You'll find Books in more than 60 catagories at unbelievable prices-- fiction, nonfiction, cookbooks, children's books, collector's items and morel You'll also find CDs, DVDs, and sheet music and puzzles. Books start at just a quarter.
We're staffed entirelyi by volunteers. Hassle-free parking is behind the store.

Donations of books are accepted Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, BEHIND the store in our parking lot. Enter off 7th street, near corner of Grant Avenyue, and look for our roll-up door. Be sure the consult our Donation Guidlines before packing your donations. Thank you in advance!

Book Donation Info

We are always in need of gently-used materials to keep our selection fresh at The Book Place, our used bookstore in Novato. We accept books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, sheet music and puzzles. However, we ask that you check the Donations Guidelines before packing your donation, as many categories have age limits. We accept donations on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, 10am-4pm, in the parking lot behind the store. Look for the large rollup door. We'll come out to your vehicle and quickly screen your donation, and proved a receipt if you like. If you are donatingmore than 2-3 bags or boxes, please phone ahead (415-209-0212) to check of we have room to take your donation, or if you have questions about anything you wish to donate.
